Background of the organization
The Conservation Council of New Brunswick (CCNB)’s mission is to create awareness of environmental issues and advocate solutions through research, education and interventions in collaboration with others. This includes effectively communicating environmental policy initiatives to the general public and decision makers, as well as influencing government decision makers to implement the policies with a strong focus on climate change.
Project description
Funding will grow three pillars of climate activities in New Brunswick: citizens engagement, campaigns and policy, and research. One particular area of work needed is growing engagement and policy research to clean up the electricity grid in the Atlantic provinces.
