Reconciliation Canada


Established in 2012 by Chief Dr. Robert Joseph, Reconciliation Canada was established as a collaboration between the Indian Residential School Survivor’s Society and Tides Canada Foundation. An Indigenous-led organization, Reconciliation Canada promotes reconciliation between Indigenous peoples and all Canadians by forging new relationships based on openness, understanding, respect, and reciprocity.

Full Description

This grant will support Reconciliation Canada in strengthening its core program design, management and partnership capacities. This includes: creating new training modules, developing and solidifying partnerships, increasing fundraising capacity, and developing and implementing an evaluation framework to ensure that findings and lessons around reconciliation are recorded and shared.
