Background of the organization

Propulsion Québec is a credible organization bringing together 190 members to accelerate the growth of the Quebec zero-emission ground transportation industry and bolster its competitiveness at the international level. It’s well-known for creating options and winning conditions to scale electric freight transportation, focusing on three sectors: zero-emission vehicles, charging infrastructures and batteries.

Project description

Funding will support the planning of the necessary infrastructure to have twelve electric freight trucks operational along the full Quebec-Toronto transport corridor, as well as the mobilization of key industrial partners to continue to scale electric freight transportation. It will cover the efforts of staff and consultants who will, among other things, locate and optimize the EV charging infrastructure and deliver technical training for users and operators.
