Mino Care

Background of the organization

Mino Care, formerly Mommy Monitor, is a nonprofit founded in 2017 to advance Black perinatal health through service delivery, education, research, and advocacy. It partners with hospitals to offer culturally appropriate care and support high-risk patients, while working to improve institutional practices and data collection.

Project description

Funding will increase Mino Care’s capacity to formalize partnerships with healthcare institutions, expand culturally appropriate perinatal care, and improve race-based data collection. The project aims to fill gaps in care and contribute to long-term systems change for Black and equity-denied communities.
