Background of the organization
Founded in 2012, Finance Engage Sustain (FES) is a non-profit, non-partisan sustainable development organization led by and for youth. FES empowers youth to create a more inclusive, fair, prosperous, and sustainable future. The FES team acts as a support system for the youth-led climate movement and is here to scale, amplify, and empower its network.
Project description
Funding will enable FES to develop and provide the administrative infrastructure for an Indigenous-led youth fund dedicated to climate action. This support will facilitate the re-granting process to aid and scale youth-led climate innovation projects. It will also enable outreach efforts to mobilize youth nationwide, including in Northern and remote areas, ensuring they can access this funding. Additionally, the funding will support the provision of core program and developmental services needed by youth.
