First Nations Executive Education – HEC Montréal

Background of the organization

Launched in 2021, the First Nations Executive Education (FNEE) offers short courses for and by First Nations to meet the needs of elected officials, administrators, entrepreneurs, managers, economic leaders and Indigenous women. Powered by the HEC Montréal School of Management, the FNEE strengthens leaders’ skills by combining traditional knowledge with contemporary management practices. The six programs are taught by 46 First Nations trainers, in tandem with professors from HEC Montréal, and guided by 8 Elders. The FNEE also offers programs that meet the needs of First Nations and non-Indigenous organizations and communities.
