Background of the organization
The Climate Communication Initiative at Carleton University is a national initiative that brings together practitioners and academic experts to advance evidence-based excellence in climate change communications and public engagement.
The Climate Communication Initiative has three core programs: a resources and training hub, strategic support services and a public engagement lab. Its goal is to build a social mandate for climate action by expanding the range of voices and participants in climate conversations and action across the country.
Funding will be used to provide core staff capacity to grow its services and engage new audiences in climate actions.
