Background of the organization 

The Clean Economy Fund is a public foundation that connects philanthropy with bold initiatives in support of a net-zero, climate-friendly future. The organization’s goal is to make it easy for philanthropic foundations, family offices and individuals to make a big difference and give confidently. It provides tools, such as: grant administration, due diligence, collaborative funding opportunities, donor advised funds and issue-based funds. 

 

Project description 

Funding will contribute to New Economy Canada, a coalition of business, Indigenous and labour leaders advocating for ambitious climate policy. Contributions will also support research for federal, provincial and municipal policy recommendations on affordable and climate resilient building of homes, aligned with a net-zero future with the Housing and Climate Task Force.
