About the organization
Founded in 2001, the Canadian Association of Midwives (CAM) is Canada’s national organization representing midwives. It partners with the National Council of Indigenous Midwives (NCIM), which has an independent Indigenous-led governance structure, to support Indigenous-led education and advocacy.
Project description
Funding will contribute to the development of a national Indigenous Midwifery Education Program, offering culturally rooted, accessible training for Indigenous midwives across Canada.
