Established in 1980, the Alberta Environmental Network Society is a non-profit advocating for environmental justice and policy reform, with a focus on cleaning up abandoned oil wells and holding polluters accountable in Alberta.
Project description
Funding will support community engagement and advocacy to make oil companies pay for cleanup costs. AEN will train new leaders, host town halls, and mobilize rural communities using deep canvassing and evidence-based outreach strategies.
