Project description
Funding will support the Partenariat Climat Outaouais to advance decarbonization in the region through research, data analysis, convening and policy advocacy. The project will recruit new stakeholders, strengthen three working groups and engage rural areas, including the MRC des Collines de l’Outaouais, Papineau, Pontiac and La Vallée‑de‑la‑Gatineau. With consultants and strategic engagement, the initiative will help remove regulatory barriers, secure funding and mobilize businesses and institutions to adopt and implement greenhouse‑gas reduction commitments.
