Background of the organization
Founded in 2020, Strong Circle is an Indigenous-led nonprofit that strengthens governance capacity in Indigenous organizations in BC. It offers low-cost and no-cost tools, training, and peer networks to support culturally grounded, accountable, and sovereign decision-making.
Project description
Funding will support Strong Circle’s delivery of governance workshops, peer webinars, regional gatherings, and pro bono legal services for BC’s urban Indigenous nonprofits. The project builds sector-wide capacity and supports Indigenous self-determination.
