Background of the organization

Founded in 1878, the Université de Montréal (UdeM) is one of the world’s leading research universities. UdeM has 13 faculties and schools, two affiliated grandes écoles – HEC Montréal and Polytechnique Montréal – and some thirty affiliated health establishments. Nearly 67,000 students are enrolled in its 250 undergraduate programmes and 350 graduate programmes. The faculty at UdeM and its affiliated schools includes 2,300 permanent and 450,000 alumi.

 

Project description

The contributions are part of UdeM’s capital campaign and will be used to enhance the UdeM Engagement project to strengthen engagement with community organizations and communities in the surrounding neighbourhoods.
