Background of the organization

Established in 1996, the Aboriginal Housing Management Association (AHMA) is Canada’s first For Indigenous, By Indigenous housing authority, supporting members that oversee 95% of off-reserve Indigenous housing in BC. Over the years, AHMA has provided its members with operational, governance, financial, and asset management support to strategically care for both new and aging housing stock.

Project description

Funding will be used to retain two Project Managers and one Program Coordinator to deliver building condition assessments, energy studies, develop capital renewal plans, and advance deep energy retrofit projects with AHMA members.
