About the organization
Founded in 1971, Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami (ITK) is the national representative organization for 70,000 Inuit across Inuit Nunangat. ITK advocates for Inuit rights and interests through a democratic governance structure representing all Inuit regions.
Project description
Funding will contribute to the development of Inuit Nunangat University, the first Inuit-led university in Canada, by supporting curriculum design and infrastructure for Inuktut-informed degree programs.
