Background of the organization 

The Thunderbird Partnership Foundation is a non-profit organization that is committed to working with First Nations and Inuit to further the capacity of communities to address substance use and addiction. It promotes a wholistic approach to healing and wellness that values culture, respect, community, and compassion.  

 

Project description 

The purpose of the project is to work with the Integrated Youth Services (IYS) Indigenous Network and provincial/territorial IYS initiatives to deliver trainings and capacity building opportunities that can support more culturally responsive approaches to youth mental health in IYS settings.
