Background
The Jack Project is a national organization that aims to effectively engage all young people on the issue of mental health, and enable young people to better care for themselves and support their peers. The Jack Project’s approach to youth mental health puts young people at the centre of everything it does, giving youth the freedom, flexibility and tools to lead the design and delivery of its initiatives. An example of this is Unleash the Noise, its student-led mental health innovation summit.
Full Description
Part of the Foundation’s grant to The Jack Project will be used to build its internal operational capacity, via our Social Innovation Fund. This grant will also support the design, implementation and evaluation of The Jack Project’s latest endeavour: an online platform to connect youth-led mental health groups across the country, enabling coordination and collaboration, peer learning, and national youth mobilization.
