Established in 1996, SKETCH is an award-winning community organization based in Toronto that engages homeless, street-involved, and at-risk young people through the arts. SKETCH supports 850 street youth per year with training and open access to a variety of different artistic disciplines including printmaking, textiles, and music production.
A grant from the Foundation will support SKETCH in developing and implementing a new framework for its programming, engaging its client base throughout the process, and utilizing developmental evaluation to track progress and make ongoing adjustments to its model. This will allow SKETCH to better serve its client base; more clearly measure and articulate the connection between services and resulting outcomes; and continue to increase its impact.
