Background of the organization 

The IWK is a major pediatric hospital and trauma centre in Halifax and the largest one in all of Atlantic Canada. For many decades, it has been providing quality services (including for mental health and addictions) to children, youth and families in the Maritime provinces and beyond. 

Project description 

The Nova Scotia Integrated Youth Services (IYS) initiative housed at the IWK Health Centre will develop and launch eight sites across the province. Funding will support the coordination of a youth and caregiver advisory committee, outreach to youth across the province as well as training and capacity building for site staff.
