Exeko

Background of organization:

Exeko is a Montreal-based non-profit organization whose mission is to foster, through education and culture, the empowerment and social inclusion of underprivileged populations. The organization was born from in 2006 to promote innovation in education and culture.
It conceives education according to open education’s principles and culture according to cultural mediation’s principles.

Full Grant description:

This grant will support Exeko’s expansion across Canada. It will also support new and existing training programs for social service agencies and government departments, which are intended to help shift service approaches from a paternalistic dynamic to one that engages citizens in the process of creating positive social outcomes.
