Associate Program Director

Prior to taking on the role of Associate Program Director, Jane worked at the Foundation for 1.5 years as National Curator for the Cities for People initiative. Before joining the Foundation, Jayne practiced participatory urbanism for more than 20 years in Eastern and Western Europe, the United States, Canada and Haiti. Her posts have included Director of Economic Development for a community development corporation in Pittsburgh, Long-Range City Planner in Salem, Oregon, European Union Program Manager for Groundwork UK, and Senior Planner at the Montreal Urban Ecology Centre. She was Co-President of the Ecocity World Summit in Montreal in 2011. Jayne is a PhD candidate at McGill University School of Urban Planning and has a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA in Real Estate Development from Temple University.
