McConnell Fellowship Program
The Foundation launched a Fellowship program in 2015 to complement the work of regular staff in investigating fields of interest for Canadian philanthropy, to share knowledge and to inform decision-making. There are two streams to the program:
Senior Fellows are experienced leaders who have been identified by the Foundation as ideally positioned to provide mentorship and advice to staff on specific initiatives, and to conduct exploratory research on issue areas of interest.

Social Innovation Fellows join the Foundation to work on an initiative for a year in a hands-on capacity. They also enable the sharing of learnings in different issue areas that the Foundation is working on — sustainable food, postsecondary education, urban resilience, and others.

NB: Participation in the McConnell Fellowship Program is by invitation only.
